As I was driving to work this morning, I heard a delicate sounding little "thump" As I looked up I saw my windshield cracking....from the drivers side ALL.THE.WAY.ACROSS to the passenger side. For absolutely NO reason! I don't understand it.
A windshield was the last thing in this world that I want to have to replace. Boo.

I called and spoke with my insurance company. It's not as bad as I thought! Thank you Jesus! I can claim it on my insurance and the deductible is only $100. Albeit, I really don't want to spend $100 on a windshield either....but it is a TON better than meeting a $500 deductible and me having to pay more! YAY! Being that I deal with a lot of insurance companies in my line of work, I thought I would never say this but: Farm Bureau loves me and right now, I really love them too.
We are with Farm Bureau and love them also!

ReplyDeleteThanks Ambs & Sarah! Apparently there is some sort of "NC WILL REPLACE FOR FREE" thing with windshields as well...but I dunno what it is. Still doing some research on that....we'll see.
