Big Three-Oh

This is my LAST week in my 20s.
In a matter of days I will be celebrating the BIG THREE-OH.

About a month ago, I happened upon a blog that I found to be quite interesting.  {I do not remember whose blog it was, so I cannot give them credit for this inspiration.}  The blogger basically stated that she had just turned 29 and was inspired to make a list of things she wanted to accomplish before she turned 30.  She called it "30 before 30"; it is a bucket list of sorts.

Being that I am three days away from turning 30.  *ah-hem* I obviously cannot attempt to complete a list of 30 things before my 30th birthday.  Theresore, I've decided to make a list of 30 things that I want to accomplish in the year I am 30.

Without further adieu, here it is:

1. Read the Bible cover to cover.

2. Run in a Half-Marathon {currently training as we speak}

3. Go ice-skating with the hubs.

4. Get back in my groove and go on a mission trip.

5. All girls weekend that requires flying.

6. Canning my own foods.

7. Dine at an ethnic restaurant {i.e., Mediterranean, Indian, German, French, etc.}

8. Find a local church home.

9. Learn how to make macaroons.

10. Fine tune my amateur sewing skills.

11. Plant my own vegetable garden

12. Wake up and work out before work for 1 month {longer if I like it}

13. Make a weekly menu.

14. Ride in a hot air balloon.

15. Learn how to stamp jewelry.

16. Make and stick to a family budget.

17. Go hiking {The Chimneys, Abram’s Falls, Mt. LeConte, Blackrock in the fall}

18. Achieve my goal weight of -40lbs.

19. Take a random road trip to go on a food crawl with my hubs.

20. Be more diligent/consistent in my blogging.

21. Do something special for the hubs randomly.

22. See Wicked.  {I've been dying to do this!}

23. Open an etsy shop OR a bakery.

24. Buy a bicycle.

25. Upcycle a piece of furniture.

26. Learn how to make baskets.

27. Learn to make homemade pasta.

28. Play the piano more often…I miss it.

29. See Michael Bublé in concert.

I will be updating the list as I mark off my list.  My hopes are to capture these events/activities on camera and keep you all up to date with my accomplishments.  Please, if you find my slacking...keep me accountable!!!  I really beleive that this is a do-able list and I will be a better person all around for doing this.

If you want to join me in my venture, let me know!  I'd love to see your list as well and be an encouragement to you too!

Welp, here we go...I've got to go do some running for the half-marathon!  *yikes*
